Wildlife Diversity: the Good, the Bad and the Ugly
2012 Wildlife Diversity Conference March 7, 2012 Aladdin Shrine Complex, Columbus, Ohio 9 AM TO 4 PM Our keynote speaker will enlighten us on the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly of earthworms! Wait till you hear the news about the little and not so little ground dwellers, you’ll be surprised. Additional topics for the day will include:
· Beavers · Freshwater mussel propagation and restoration · Birds using Lake Erie · Terrestrial crayfish · Aquatic nuisance species – Asian carp, lampreys · Wildlife orphans and wildlife rehabilitation · Wetland restoration from the small mammal perspective
The newest Ohio Wildlife Legacy Stamp will be available at the Conference for $15. Pre-Register for the conference and purchase the stamp for $12! The stamp features a spotted salamander with proceeds supporting wildlife diversity conservation, research and education in Ohio. Put your “stamp” on wildlife conservation!
